Kim and Joe Mohrhauser are known to generations of shoppers at the Fluegel’s Farm, Garden & Pet stores they co-own in Hastings and Rosemount. Kim’s family has owned the main store for 92 years, serving the many needs of farmers large and small for feeds, forages, bedding, pasture management & garden. As Dakota County became more urban the stores evolved to appeal to residential homeowners as well. At their own farm along the Vermillion River they own Llamas, Suri Alpacas, and numerous breeds of sheep – Rambouillet, Columbia, Dorset, and Suffolk.
