We live on my husband’s family’s homesteaded farm.  They came here in the early 1860s. We started farming together 47 years ago.  We raised corn, soybeans, beef and hay.  In 2003 we started raising sheep for meat and wool.  Today we have four horses, a flock of chickens and are down to seven fiber sheep.  In 2021 we will have wool, yarn, pumpkins and hopefully Aronia berry jelly and syrup to sell.  I hope to try selling what we have at the local farmer’s markets.
